Activities Co-ordinator

Job Overview:
**Duties**:
- Plan, organise, and oversee a diverse range of activities and events for residents in a residential care home setting.
- Develop and implement activity programmes tailored to meet the needs and interests of senior residents, including those requiring dementia care.
- Coordinate outings, social gatherings, and in-house events to encourage social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Collaborate with care staff to ensure activities are inclusive and accessible to all residents.
- Maintain accurate records of activities, attendance, and resident participation levels.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to gather feedback and suggestions for future activities.
**Skills**:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a care environment is preferred.
- Good communication skills with the ability to interact compassionately with residents.
- Strong organisational skills to plan and execute a variety of activities efficiently.
- Understanding of the needs of residents in a care environment, particularly those with dementia care requirements.
- Creativity and enthusiasm to develop innovative and enjoyable activity programmes for residents.
