As a Pastoral Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support and intervention sessions for struggling learners. You will ensure that all the needs of the students are met to positively impact their learning, social and emotional needs.
Role Description -- Pastoral Assistant
Pastoral Assistant -- long-term role
Full-time, Monday -- Friday position
Daily rate at 80-95 per day (term-time only rate)
Provide support and intervention sessions for secondary school students
Be accountable for assigned student's progress
Record and evaluate the impact of intervention sessions
Work under the Pastoral Leader/SENCO

Experience and Qualifications -- Pastoral Assistant
Pastoral Assistant -- graduate role
Minimum 2:1 grade in Psychology or other relevant studies
Good A-Levels
Prior experience supporting young people would be advantageous
Experience delivering intervention sessions
Knowledge of SEN
