Do you want to work within a luxury care provider? Evermore Care are currently looking for passionate Laundry Assistant to join our beautiful NEW service, Astley View based in Chorley, Lancashire. This is a full time role and we are looing for someone who can work flexibly over a 2 week rota, 8am - 5pm and we are offering a marker leading hourly rate of £10.90.

We are looking for a Laundry Assistant who takes pride in their work and who is a highly organised and thorough. You will be providing high quality laundry services to the residents within the service and have excellent attention to detail. As a Laundry Assistant you will maintain the highest standard of all aspects of the laundry service including washing, drying, ironing and storing correctly.

Astley View is a state-of-the-art new care home in Chorley, Lancashire. This 90 bedded service offers the very best in personal, dementia, and respite care split over three floors. Within Astley View each room is decorated to a high standard offering the very best fixtures and fitting including video calling facilities and stylish furnishings. This luxury services also offers residents a wide range of varied activities as well as its own beauty salon, ice cream parlor and cinema room

**EXPERIENCE**:

- Working within a similar environment would be advantages
- Understanding and experience of COSHH
- Have a ‘can do’ and positive attitude who can work on their own as well as part of the wider team

**MAIN RESPONSIBLITIES**:

- Keeping the laundry room clean, tidy and orgnaised
- Ensuring all residents clothes, bedding, and towels are appropriately washed, dried, ironed, mended if required, labelled, and returned to the residents
- To consistently deliver excellent customer service and build positive working relationships with not only the residents but staff and wider teams
