**The White Hart Grimsby is hiring for full-time and part-time bartenders to join our team**

**Bartender Job Description**

As a bartender, you will be responsible for providing an excellent guest experience at all times. You will be the first point of contact for our guests, so you should have excellent communication skills. The best bartenders are able to see and understand the needs of their guests. You should be able to provide an accurate and fresh cocktail menu to ensure a great experience for all our guests. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about serving guests and loves working with kids.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and give suggestions
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets the legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Qualifications:

- Resume that shows work experience as bartender or other related profession.
- Must have knowledge of different types of cocktails. He or she must know how to make them fresh, garnish, prepare garnishes etc. And have the ability to explain all ingredients used in the cocktail menu to guests.
- Must be able to read and write in English. We would like you to also speak English fluently.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: From £10.42 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Tips

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Grimsby: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
- Bartending: 1 year (preferred)
