Job description
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time receptionist to join our charity, based out of our Head Office in Buckhurst Hill. The role, whilst being based on the reception desk, includes a variety of administrative and office management duties including, but not limited to;
- Booking meetings/conferences/arranging deliveries
- Responsibility for the maintenance of the office building, including liaising with contractors and suppliers
- Facilities management of the office infrastructure including phone system, equipment, services and catering supplies
- Managing office security
- Managing stockroom and ordering supplies as needed
- Varied administrative duties as required
In accordance with the Equality Act of 2010 and due to both the nature and context of the role there is
an ‘occupational requirement’ for the post holder to be an evangelical Christian. The job holder should
be committed to the purpose of SPI and be able to demonstrate enthusiasm for the Christian purposes
of the organisation and be able to live out, hold to, support and contribute to its Christian ethos.
