**Your **Role
This is a multi-skilled role within our warehouse and packing department. Due to investment in a modern automated packing machine we are looking to add to our current multi-skilled workforce. You will be required to operate packing equipment that packs products ranging from 0.5Kg up to 25Kg. You will also be required to pick orders and load onto vehicles in our 24/5 operation. Shifts are Early 06:00 to 14:00, Back 14:00 to 22:00 and Nightshift 22:00 to 06:00 on a rotating basis dependent on your role.
**Your **Responsibilities
- Working safely while always adhering to company Health & Safety guidelines and current legislation.
- Ensure all areas operate efficiently.
- Seek to outperform the set targets and strive for continuous improvement.
- Safe operation of the automated packing machines.
- Safe operation of onsite MHE within the company and current legislations.
- Ensure complete food safety.
- Ensure correct document control and record keeping.
- Ensure stock is rotated.
- Report all plant faults to ensure efficient maintenance of all plant within the packing and warehouse environment.
- Undertake any necessary training in order to fulfil job requirements.
- Ensure absolute product safety through careful management of all process lines and product handling.
- Employ a clean as you go policy.
- All staff are expected to exhibit a flexible approach to working and the performance of supervisory tasks may be required for the wellbeing and advancement of the business.
**Your Profile**
- To be capable of lifting 12kg to 25kg on a regular basis.
- To be able to sustain periods of up to 4 hours standing.
- Committed team player.
- Good communication skills.
- Drive to learn and a motivation to succeed.
- Previous experience in running high speed food packaging lines will be advantageous.
- Food industry and/or warehousing experience.
- Valid Fork Lift Truck License (Counter Balance).
- Experiencing of operating a Counterbalance FLT.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills are required.
