Stockroom Controller

Swanstaff recruitment are looking for a stock room controller to join our client based in Eaton socon.

Monday-Friday

21k per annum

9am-5pm with an hour’s unpaid lunch break

Job description
- To assist with all inbound items/shipments, ensuring that they are seen in within 24 hours.
- To assist with allocating stock to the correct inventory locations.
- To assist with preparing, picking & processing stock for Sale & Hire Orders. Including preparing Radios for Hire, cleaning Radios when they’re returned from Hire. Liaising with the Sales Team regarding lost & damaged Radios. Covering the Hire & Sale Logistics departments as and when necessary.
- To assist with the management of packaging materials, ensuring items are kept replenished.
- To assist with monthly stock takes and maintain a high level of accuracy.
- To assist the Radio Programmer (as and when required) with basic programming of Radios. Additional training to be provided for this.
- To assist with keeping the working area (Goods In & Out) clean & tidy to avoid hazards.
- To assist with checking courier manifests at the end of the day and ensuring all parcels are sent daily.

Training will be provided on all processes & procedures, along with the relevant system/database training needed to complete the role.

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£21,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- St. Neots, PE19: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- retail: 1 year (preferred)
- Stock taking: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving (preferred)
