**Product Metallurgist
Job Description**:

- Interpretation of customer requirements and specifications for inclusion with product processing route and release criteria
- Responsible for metallurgical development for forged products
- Generation of metallurgical process instructions for Forging (Primary) & Heat Treatment (Secondary) to obtain a metallurgical compliant product
- Creation and approval of process data cards forging & heat treatment processes
- Design & approval of manufacturing routes to obtain compliant metallurgical products
- Point of contact and knowledge leader for metallurgical and product testing (mechanical& metallurgical) release within the business
- Responsible for creation of documents, manuals, and reports in support of customer liaison and internal processing
- Ensure adherence to manufacturing quality standard
- Maintain knowledge of metallurgical developments within industry and academia
- Manage the Technical requirement for specific product-based projects as and when required
- Shared responsibility for Technical Contract Review / Order Acceptance

**Product Metallurgist**
**Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications**:

- Degree/ Masters / PhD qualified in Metallurgy or Materials Science and Engineering.
- Experienced with forging, thermomechanical processing, heat treatment, and release testing
- Experience of working within a highly regulated manufacturing industry
- Exposure of working with Nickel, Steels, Stainless Steels, Titanium and Aluminum alloy systems

- Experience of New Product Introduction and Product Management
- Experience of Non Destructive Testing
