**Pay Rate / Salary**:Up to £14.80 depending on shift

A leading aftermarket manufacturer and supplier of industrial machinery parts globally, exporting to130 countries. They are looking for an experienced Goods In / Dispatch Operative to join their team.
**The Goods In / Dispatch Operative Position**:
Due to the expansion of existing contracts, the company is now recruiting for a Goods In / Dispatch Operative.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Prepare and Load shipments in containers, and unloading containers.
- Safely operating forklift trucks and other equipment.
- Careful loading and unloading of high value parts and large components into vehicles and containers using forklift trucks.
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping within the stores and warehouse, using own initiative for maintaining a clean and tidy yard and warehouse.
- Manual handling of stock following company procedures and always adhering to Health and Safety standards.
- Manage the receipting of all incoming goods into the stores and warehouse.
- Movement of parts and components between sites and warehouses using company vehicles.
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping, using own initiative for maintaining a clean and tidy yard and warehouse.
- Carry out any other duties as deemed necessary to ensure the smooth running of the stores and warehouse departments.
- This role involves the movement and packing of components of a wide variety of sizes and weights, including large precision machine components.
- Have previous industrial yard experience
- Have Fork Lift Truck driving experience
- Have a full driving license
- Have Literacy, numeracy and IT skills
- Be reliable with excellent time-keeping
- Be able to work well under pressure, in a fast-paced environment
- Have great communication skills.
- Work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Possess a fitness level required for manual handling.
**Licence/Certification Required**:
- Driving Licence
- FLT Experience
