**Your Dream Role**
- We need a **Commodity Buyer** to join our exceptional Procurement team.
- Simply put, you will find and motivate the best suppliers in the world to partner with us.
- Be responsible for overall ownership of a pre-determined set of commodities, cost reduction projects, and supplier performance management.
- Build strong, strategic partnerships with our suppliers to ensure the most cost-effective solution without compromising on quality.
- Identify value improvement opportunities and deliver target cost reductions.
- Use your solid commercial acumen to negotiate commercial and contractual terms with our suppliers.
- Create commodity strategies in line with business objectives.
- Ensure effective management of key supplier performance through scorecards.
- Opportunities like this don’t come along often - you will have exposure to a wide range of senior stakeholders globally.

**About You**
- A Procurement expert with thorough knowledge of all aspects of commodity management - including sourcing, commercial negotiation, supplier management and global sourcing.
- Experience in a similar role within a similarly complex and challenging business.
- Solid commercial and business acumen as you will regularly negotiate with our suppliers.
- Relationship building will come easily to you - across all levels of seniority, internally and externally.
- You won’t be afraid to challenge the status quo, constantly striving to improve the way we do things.
- Things can be hectic here. You will remain calm under pressure, be able to multi-task and deliver projects on time.
- Generally, someone who is approachable, with a strong work ethic and a desire to succeed.

**Requirements**:

- Ideally, you will be a degree-qualified in an Engineering or Business discipline.
- Even better if you are CIPS Qualified.
- You will be a self-starter who can work both from the office and home (hybrid working)
