**Role Description**

Lords Builders Merchants have an opportunity for a Fleet Controller to join our Operations Team, based in Hayes. This is a mainly office-based role that will suit someone with a strong background in Transport, with a focus on administration and maintaining excellent compliance of a varied fleet.

The role will involve:

- Managing all training including CPC, Health & Safety, FLT & HIAB refreshers
- Ensuring that vehicles are serviced and maintained to the required standard and managing defects
- Managing PMI services and MOTs
- Being main point of contact for leasing companies
- Managing fleet schedule/Congestion charge/Dart charge/Insurance and tax
- Assisting branches in the recruitment of quality drivers
- Registering and licensing all vehicles on fleet
- Managing fuel card accounts
- Monitoring driver behaviour and ensuring a high level of customer service
- Analysing data to increase business operational efficiency
- Managing and reviewing driver Tacho infringements
- Managing and reviewing FLT contracts
- Managing accident claims and relationship with insurers

Hours: 8am-5pm Mon-Fri

Holiday: 22 days per year plus Bank Holidays

**Salary**: £40,000 per annum

**Requirements**:

- Full understanding of all legislation and compliance relating to the transport industry
- Previous experience of Transport Management
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal
- Computer & IT literate with a good working knowledge of Word, Excel & Outlook
- Ability to develop and evolve processes within a growing business
- Ability to perform under pressure and use your own initiative

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
