**GRANTS FUNDRAISER ~ **_**17billion **_**charitable trust**

**The Role**:
**We seek someone on a part-time flexible remote work contract from January 2024**

**The role is carried out mainly at home with occasional meetings with grant givers and trustees**

**Build relationships over time with 10+ selected grant making trusts (there are thousands)**

**Report progress weekly in writing to board of trustees**

**Proactively support the trustees by making suggestions for improvement in methodology**

**After finding your feet, mentor new hires: accept promotion as Head of Grant Fundraising**

**Liaise with colleagues and other stakeholders as necessary to support the **_**17billion**_ **team**

**Carry out additional ad hoc duties as necessary**

**The Person**:

- **Extensive successful face to face sales experience or fundraising experience**:

- **Ability to learn quickly so as to ‘come on stream’ and deliver results early**:

- **Good technical ability and knowledge of a wide array of IT systems, apps and platforms**:

- **A confident outgoing personality**:

- **Excellent organisational skills**:

- **Excellent accuracy and attention to detail**:

- **Excellent verbal and written communication skills**:

- **Strong interpersonal skills: empathetic approach to dealings with grant makers**:

- **Excellent command of the English language**

**Rewards and Benefits**:

- **17billion **_**offers pay plus bonus (see later), approved expenses, and the knowledge and experience to help save the planet and humanity. Success will lead to promotion to a more senior role such as Head of Grant Fundraising, Head of Fundraising and, later, CEO. Pay is negotiable and will be a mix of basic pay plus commission based on success. You can decide how much you are motivated by commission.**

**We expect total taxable pay in year 1 to be in the range £34,000-40,000, higher in later years as you develop relationships with grant givers.**
