Company Demonstrator

Contract Personnel are currently recruiting for a Company Demonstrator for both Agricultural and Construction equipment on behalf of a long established family firm.
**Role Purpose**:
Reporting directly to the Shows & Demonstrations Manager, you will be responsible for the professional demonstration of Agricultural and Construction equipment to end users, showing the features and benefits of the equipment that we sell. This is a position of responsibility as this role plays an important part of the sales process; a good demonstration can make or break a deal. As well as working on your own, you will be part of a larger team assisting in the preparation of machinery for country shows, including our own annual show.
Main Responsibilities/Requirements
To demonstrate key functions and benefits in a professional manner for machinery e.g. tractors, combines, telehandlers, cultivation equipment, drills; some of which use the latest technology including global positioning systems (GPS), electronic mapping and telematics systems. Some types of construction equipment are also required to be demonstrated e.g., excavators and loading shovels.
Promote the safe use of machinery and implement to the end users
Liaising closely with Manager and Sales Representative regarding machinery and customers’ expectations
Dealing with customers on a day-to-day basis, both face to face and over the phone
Identify opportunities and build new relationships with sales staff and customers
Positively promote the Company image and its products
Liaise with customer and suppliers as required
Attend training courses are required by the company to maintain satisfactory levels of compliance and understanding
Maintain a clean, tidy and safe vehicle
Good, sound knowledge of agricultural or construction industry and its equipment
Good customer service skills both face to face and over the phone
Be self-motivated and able to work under own initiative
Able to work long hours and be away from home during peak periods
Able to be a team player
Has the ability to be influencing and persuading
Full driving licnce is required
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

42.5 hours per week - 8am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday (1hr unpaid lunch) Additional hours at peak times
**SALARY**:
£Competitive, depending on experience plus company vehicle (ranger)
