Steel Fixer

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced steel fixer to join our team. You will be responsible for performing various tasks related to steel construction. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting, tying, and the use of power tools.

**Duties**:

- Install and erect structural steel frames, beams, and columns
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Use power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and fit metal pieces
- Assist with the installation of reinforcing bars for concrete structures
- Perform rigging operations to move heavy materials
- Inspect and maintain equipment and tools
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as an steel fixer
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
- Have a valid CSCS skills card for Steel fixing
- Mechanical knowledge and ability to use power tools effectively
- Experience working with hand tools commonly used in ironwork
- Comfortable working at heights,

We offer competitive rate of pay which will be agreed based on your experience and this being accessed by the project manager. If you are a hardworking individual with a strong work ethic and the necessary skills for this role, we encourage you to apply.

**You must live within 90 minute commute from the project.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 15 months

Pay: £20.00-£23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week
