Wentworth Club is one of the world’s finest private members Golf and Country Clubs, famous for its outstanding three Championship golf courses, in addition to a luxury Tennis & Health Club. The Club is surrounded and entwined within the Wentworth Estate, one of the most prestigious private estates in the London suburbs where many of the world’s premier golfers have their home.

This is an exciting opportunity for experience Landscape Gardener to join Wentworth Club Landscape team. The Landscaping Supervisor will be involved in supervising a small team of Landscape gardeners who look after the private gardens on the Wentworth Estate. This contract is based on 40 hours per week over 7 days (normally Monday to Friday) and includes a 1 in 3 weekend rota working within the department.

**Key Areas of Activity**

Day-to-day tasks include:

- Grass cutting (Pedestrian & Ride-on)
- Operating equipment (Strimmers & Hedge Cutters)
- Blowing leaves, debris and removing waste from site
- Weeding, pruning, watering & planting
- Basic maintenance of equipment
- Carry out ad-hoc tasks to meet the needs of the clients

Standards:

- Ensure very high standards are met at private properties
- A high standard of personal presentation is always required
- Report any areas of concern immediately to line manager.
- To carry out daily equipment checks before use and report any faults to the Landscaping Manager or Head/Deputy Mechanic as soon as possible.
- To comply with statutory and legal requirements for fire, health, safety and employment.
- To complete a daily works schedule and report updates at the end of each day.
- Plan the daily working schedule for the team ensuring the quality and standards in the properties are maintained to a very high level
- Ensure correct training and supervision is given to new members of staff
- To contribute to creating a team environment that promotes good employee morale and ensures a high level of communication and pride in the department and to our clients
- Promote effective communication within the team

**Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience**
- Proven record of working in high end gardens is essential
- Excellent plant knowledge
- Proven horticultural knowledge
- Polite and professional attitude at all times
- Outstanding customer service skills
