**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise a team of fibre technicians and subcontractors, ensuring efficient project execution and adherence to quality standards.
- Coordinate and oversee the installation, testing, and maintenance of fibre optic infrastructure, including splicing, termination, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations, project specifications, and industry best practices.
- Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and budgets to achieve operational targets and deliver high-quality results.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers and engineers, to provide technical guidance, resolve issues, and optimize project performance.
- Mentor and train team members on fibre optic installation techniques, safety procedures, and equipment operation.
- Maintain accurate documentation of project progress, including work reports, test results, and material inventory.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and enhance operational efficiency.

**Requirements**:

- Desirable skills - S11, S13, N23, M23, Orion Knowledge / OR Network Knowledge.
- Minimum of at least 2 years of experience as a Fibre Supervisor or a similar role in the telecoms industry.
- In-depth knowledge of fibre optic networks, installation techniques, and testing procedures.
- Proficient in fibre optic splicing, termination, and troubleshooting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize and meet project deadlines.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to fibre optic installation.
- Outstanding problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel within the Northwest, UK region.
