Internal Sales Representative

**What is the job opportunity?**
We are now recruiting for a personable, friendly and professional Internal Sales/Trade Counter team member at our recently opened Leeds Branch.
**What is the overall purpose of the role?**
To be part of our sales team contributing to help us achieve our goals. You will serve as point of contact for customers, both over the telephone and face-to-face at our Trade Counter, processing orders and dealing with queries concerning orders, deliveries and products. You will also provide support for external area sales representatives.
Ultimately, you should be able to contribute to high quality customer service and achieve sales targets.
**What is the job spec?**
- Part-time, permanent
- Monday to Friday
- 20 hours per week
- Start and finish times to be agreed, but between 07:00 and 17:00
- Salary pro-rata of FTE of £23,000 - £24,000 p.a.
- 25 days annual holiday (pro rata for the hours and the remainder of the year) plus bank holidays
**What will you be doing?**
The key responsibilities of the role are to:
- Check data accuracy in orders and invoices.
- Contact clients to obtain missing information or answer queries.
- Liaise with the logistics department to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain and update sales and customer records.
- Communicate important feedback from customers internally.
- Ensure sales targets are met and report any deviations.
- Stay up to date with new products and features.
**What do you NEED to have?**
- Proven work experience as a Sales Administrator or Sales Support Agent.
- Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Office (particularly Excel).
- Understanding of sales performance metrics.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
- A team player with a high level of dedication.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines.
