Pertemps are currently recruiting for a quality inspector to start ASAP for a leading Audio equipment company in Salisbury.
Overview for this role:

- Incoming inspection of key cosmetic and functional components to a high level of detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of quality documents and drawings to be able to interpret requirements and standards.
- Recording inspection results and analysing data to drive improvement activities.
- Coordinate with purchasing department to provide data to monitor supplier performance, generating regular reports where appropriate and administering corrective actions as necessary.
- Complete internal audits to enhance process standardization and waste elimination.
- Support the development of standards and requirements for purchased components.
- Support new product launches, ensuring compliance with established standards.
- Support the QEHS Manager to monitor and report on supplier and internal product quality and performance.
- Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to adhere to process and prevent occurrence of any non-conformity relating to product, process or system.
- Manage first off sample approvals.
- Internal auditing of processes for quality improvement activities and monitoring.
Requirements for this position:

- Proven experience of working in a similar role
- Clean driving licence as some travel might be expected in the role.
- Auditor Training (desirable)
- Understanding electro-mechanical assemblies (desirable)
