The EMEA Product Steward will be the primary person responsible for leading and maintaining approvals of Healthcare Business Group products sold into Export Market countries.

To complete this task, the EMEA Product Steward will need to become familiar with various systems used for these approvals including, but not limited to SAP.

The individual will be required to monitor the systems for new approvals, review the details, coordinate information amongst different job functions that provide input to the approval (e.g. regulatory, sales, operations), and provide feedback to the requestor via the systems.

In addition to approving products for the Export Market countries, this individual may be asked to provide translations from French to English and English to French in support of customer requests, government reporting/requests, and reviewing of regulatory documents.

As time allows, the EMEA Product Steward may also be called upon to provide back-up to the remaining EMEA Product Steward team by approving new products in our Domestic Market countries and supporting inquiries regarding the Hazard Communication documents, customer requests, local reporting requirements, raw material information, etc.

They may assist the International Product Stewardship team in streamlining global product stewardship processes and leveraging global best practices.

The individual selected for this role will ideally have 2-3 years of experience with regulatory, quality and/or product stewardship and must possess the ability to document and clearly communicate information with internal stakeholders and customers.

Specific Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Reviewing regulatory requirements for products sold in EMEA countries.
- Approving product for market in EMEA countries
- Communicating with internal cross-functional teams
- Communicating with customers and distributors of our products
- Documenting regulatory strategy, approvals, responses, etc.

General job description:

- Works with moderate work direction and can identify issues/problems but may need assistance in resolving. Includes all major EHS activities, so that it can be applicable to individuals with a variety of EHS responsibilities.
- Identifies, initiates, plans, recommends, promotes, and implements broad EHS programs and projects at Division/Business/Region/Corporate level.
- Independently identifies required plans, business justification, resources, schedules, and interactions to accomplish objectives. May: a. Identify training and communication strategies; b. Create major EHS processes or systems (e.g. compliance, auditing, incident response); c. Assemble and lead investigative teams to address serious EHS incidents and develop reaction/resolution plans; d. Lead EHS audit or self-assessment programs
- Lead a corporate Environmental, Health, Safety (EHS) program; and/or f. Influence development of external EHS standards, guidelines and/or regulations and internal policies, influence facility and/or Business processes to address EHS considerations, and lead EHS impact reduction within and outside assigned organization

Experience Required
- Previous experience in a Product Stewardship role
- Excellent Oral and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and results oriented
- Organize
- A preferred qualification would be speaking another language found within the EU aside from English (French, Swedish, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Science, Engineering or Technology
