An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for several dynamic individuals to join our Digital First Programme Team as a Clinical Lead for our e-Hubs.

The post of Clinical Lead is for an experienced and qualified practitioner who has practice qualifications including clinical and leadership skills.

The Clinical Lead will work closely with the Senior Clinical Responsible Officer and provide clinical leadership to the wider Digital First Project listed in the job description. The focus of this role will be to work with a project to provide clinical expertise and advise on the development of Digital First initiatives from North East London across Primary Care, UEC, and Out of Hospital Services.

You will be responsible for identifying, monitoring, and addressing any gaps in the quality and performance of the service, in liaison with the Operational Lead. You will hold a key role in building and maintaining excellent working practices with staff and will support the Operational Lead with the operational running of the team.

The Clinical Project Sponsor will be supporting the delivery of the Nationally funded Digital First Programme. The Clinical Project Sponsor will act as the Subject Matter Expert and will be assigned to the e-Hubs project under the Digital First Programme for NELHCP. The Clinical Project Sponsor will be supporting the delivery of the Nationally fundedDigital First Programme. The Clinical Project Sponsor will act as the Subject Matter Expert, and will be assigned to one of the 12 projects under the Digital First Programme for ELCPH. The Clinical Project Sponsor will have an opportunity to work across and collectively with all the projects under the Digital First Programme. Please see below a summary of each project.

The Digital First Programme is looking for a range of clinical professionals from across the systems and is looking for a diverse range of backgrounds, expertise and professions.

The Clinical Project Sponsor will work jointly with a Managerial Project Sponsor(s), a Project Manager and the Programme Team.

The responsibility of the Clinical Project Sponsor is to ensure the facts and details are correct so that the project’s/program's deliverable(s) will meet the needs of the stakeholders, legislation, policies, standards, and best practices.
- Provide Expertise to the Accelerators, Projects and Programmes when required
- Ensuring user (User) needs are understood and accurately specified
- Committing user (User) resources
- Communicating between the user (User) community and the project team
- Ensuring that the solution meets user expectations, satisfies user needs and contributes towards realising the business benefits
- Work jointly with the Managerial Project Sponsor(s).
- The Project Sponsor(s) will report on the project(s) via the Digital First Programme Board. Responsibilities of the Project Sponsor(s) include: - Attending the Digital First Programme Board to represent their Project(s)
- Provide overall direction to the project;
- Review and approve the project plan;
- Review status reports;
- Review progress on the project with the Project Manager;
- Review and approve the final report.
