Fundraising Volunteer

**Overview**:
Fundraising Volunteer for Change Grow Live, West Lothian Recovery Service. This is an ideal role for someone 18 plus with previous or current fundraising skills and a real passion for helping in the recovery community by raising much needed funds and local awareness of the charity and all that we do in the recovery service.

**Responsibilities**:
We are looking for a Fundraising Volunteer for Change Grow Live, West Lothian Recovery Service. This is an ideal role for someone, 18 plus, with previous or current fundraising skills and a passion for helping in the recovery community by raising much needed funds and local awareness of the charity.

You will play a key role in supporting the service by helping to raise vital funds which will go toward supporting groups, clubs, events and activities throughout the year for our service users. Including, but not limited to, our annual Christmas party.

You will work alone at times and as part of the team during your fundraising activities. Although advice will be given, this role will require previous experience in fundraising and an understanding of how to raise such funds and who to approach.

You will demonstrate and have the ability to record and maintain consolidated fundraising records, thus ensuring all funds raised are recorded and accounted for accurately showing all incoming funds and/or goods. It will be your responsibility to ensure that funds are checked and secured as agreed within CGL and that all monitoring is kept up-to-date and can be accessed for auditing if required.

As a fundraising volunteer you must maintain a positive and efficient working relationship, good communication skills and a friendly nature between the CGL team, members of the public and fundraising partners are essential for this role.

You will be a valued member of the team and a key player in helping to raise awareness of CGL and the positive work within the recovery community.
