**What you will be doing**:
An opportunity has arisen for a proactive and knowledgeable NRSWA Coordinator to join our team to join the team at Galliford Try.

You will work specifically on our Mansfield Green Recovery Programme on the Severn Trent Water AMP 7 programme, where our role is to provide 100’s of Sustainable Urban Drainage solutions across Mansfield Town within the community areas.

This programme is a new business stream for Galliford Try and is likely to grow substantially in the next Capital Framework Investment period.

You will be based with the programme team in Mansfield, principally at one of 2 hubs, the Pre-Construction Office in Mansfield Civic Centre, and the Construction Site Offices at Mansfield Waste Water Treatment Works, with the opportunity to travel across multiple sites/projects across the programme.

As the NRSWA Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with Safety at Street Works and Road Works Code of Practice, and maintaining effective communication between the Project Manager, Site Team, and Local Authorities.

Working directly with the Project Manager and liaising with the Site Team, you will be responsible for issuing, managing, and coordinating permits to work in accordance with requirements. This includes ensuring that the setup aligns with the Safety at Street Works and Road Works Code of Practice.

Your key responsibility will be the preparation, submission, and updating of streetworks permits and notices in compliance with current legislation. This involves meticulous attention to detail and adherence to regulatory guidelines. Additionally, you will raise Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders (TTROs) as required, aiming to facilitate the smooth flow of traffic and minimise disruptions during street works.

Ensuring cooperation with Local Authorities, as prescribed under Section 60 of the NRSWA 1991, is crucial. You will play a vital role in maintaining effective communication and collaboration with these authorities throughout the project lifecycle. This includes monitoring and controlling all open permits and notices, ensuring that accurate and up-to-date data is maintained. You will liaise with field teams to ensure that all data is regularly updated.

Another important aspect of your role is to ensure that reinstatement data is collected and sent to the relevant Highway Authority within the statutory timeframe. This ensures compliance with regulations and facilitates the smooth functioning of road infrastructure. Furthermore, you will be responsible for obtaining STATS drawing and street information to assist in the delivery of works, supporting the project team with necessary data.

Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly whereabouts reports will be part of your responsibilities. These reports will assist the site teams in their operations and provide valuable insights into project progress, facilitating effective decision-making. Developing effective relationships with all Highways Authorities across the Severn Trent Water region is an essential aspect of your role. These relationships contribute to successful collaboration and efficient project execution.

Maintaining appropriate records is essential for resolving disputes between the Local Highway Authority and our client. Your meticulous record-keeping will contribute to the smooth resolution of any issues that may arise. In addition, you will liaise with Document Control to set up project system requirements, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient data management.

As an NRSWA Coordinator, you will also be expected to undertake any other activities necessary to support the overall functioning of the NRSWA coordination function. This may include ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities that contribute to the successful delivery of street works projects.

**About You**:
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience within a street works/permitting environment. It is essential that you have a solid understanding of the street works industry, including knowledge of permit processes and regulations.

Strong written and oral communication skills are a requirement for this role. You should be able to effectively communicate with various stakeholders, including team members, clients, and local authorities.

The ability to work independently and as part of a team is crucial. You should be able to take initiative and work autonomously when required, while also collaborating effectively with colleagues.
