HR Officer Job Title: HR Officer Location: Coventry Salary: £32,000 to £42,000 We are currently looking for an HR Officer to manage all aspects of HR, providing professional advice and guidance on HR-related matters to a variety of stakeholders within the company, and liaising closely and effectively with the HR Business Partners and HR Manager.

Responsibilities of the HR Officer:

- To provide professional advice and guidance on HR matters in line with up-to-date employment legislation
- To work with the HR Business Partners to assist key stakeholders and the Senior Management team in case management such as performance, capability, conduct.
- To support the implementation of department and projects and initiatives as they arise, such as GDPR and E&D
- To produce quarterly HR KPI reports with a view to influencing and driving future policy, behaviour, and practices within the department
- To collaborate with HR/Organisational and Development to implement a HR skills programme for all staff within the company
- Deal with issues such as recruitment and selection, induction, probation, sickness absence management, performance management, disciplinary, grievance, equality and diversity, well-being

Skills Required of the HR Officer:

- CIPD qualified or studying towards
- Substantial relevant experience gained within a complex service environment
- High level organisational skills and the ability to employ initiative, work quickly and accurately under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal skills and written communication skills, with the ability to persuade, influence and negotiate
- Experience and knowledge of HR processes and employment law, and the ability to recognise and implement best practice within such processes
- The ability to work independently and work effectively in a team environment
- The ability to identify and implement practical solutions to queries and adopt a pragmatic and flexible approach to work
- The technical ability, including well-developed IT skills
