**JOB TITLE**: Picker Packer
**LOCATION**: National Plastics, Pant Industrial Estate, Dowlais, Merthyr Tydfil, CF48 2SR
**REPORTS TO**: Branch Manager
**HOURS**: 07:45 - 16:45 Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 11:30 every other Saturday
Job Purpose:
The role of the Picker Packer will be responsible for the packing of Plastic Building Products and supporting the overall function of the branch.
Key Accountabilities:
- To identify and pick stock items for customers in a timely manner.
- You will maintain and excellent relationship with customers.
- Inform manager of stock levels.
- To support the sales and marketing plans of the business
- To support the branch action plan
- Liaise and cooperate with all work colleagues within the company, group and wider Epwin community.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
- Undertake training and performance reviews.
- Contributes to the culture where standards are of the highest standards, maintaining good housekeeping within the branch.
- Carries out activities in line with safe systems of work as well as using personal safety device in line with work type.
- Works together with the team to provide excellent customer service.
- Help maintain high standards within the trade counter area and warehouse.
- Has a can-do/will-do attitude and able to work within a small team.
- Assist with health and safety compliance.
- Work with the Branch Manager and the rest of the team to achieve branch performance targets.
Key Experiences and Skills Required:
- Will have a friendly, welcoming attitude and have energy and passion that is required to deliver what our customers require.
- Be versatile and prepared to assist in all aspects of running the branch.
- A forklift truck license would be preferable but if not, training will be provided.
- Good organisational skills and be IT literate.
- Experience in a trade counter environment would be preferred but not essential as the right attitude and drive will overcome any lack of this experience. Full training will be provided.
- Previous experience in a similar role will be advantageous but not essential.
