Recycling Sorters Beeston

Manpower is currently on the hunt for Site Operatives/ Recycling Sorters at our client based in Leeds LS11 area, the main purpose of this role is to help aid and assist the onward movement non-hazardous waste for recycling as directed, and in accordancewith current environmental legislation.

You will be responsible for sorting cartons, plastic, paper, aluminium.

Working on conveyor belt picking rubbish out.
(Anything what goes in green recycling bins)
**DUE TO WORKING HRS CANDIDATE MUST HAVE THEIR OWN TRANSPORT OR LIVE LOCAL TO SITE**

The role briefly involves the following duties: -- Working on conveyor belt,
- Sorting materials
- General labour on site including housekeeping, litter-picking, repacking / repalletizing waste, various cleaning tasks
- Punctual
- Tolerant of diverse working situations & conditions, due to recycling materials there is specific smell on site.
- Flexible approach to work - some overtime / late finishes may be required as per the needs of the business

**Hours of Work**:
Afternoons: 15.30 - 00.00 (midnight) Mon to Fri - Overtime available on weekends

Nights Sun to Thurs (finish Fri morning) - 00.00 till 7am
