**Job purpose**
New Era Fuels currently have a position available for an Operations Apprentice to work cross-departmentally, gaining knowledge and skills throughout the organisation.
This is an amazing opportunity for someone to be a key part of the organisation, working in multiple departments throughout the length of time as an apprentice, gaining exceptional exposure in Sales, Transport and Operational teams.
**What you’ll be doing**
We don’t expect you to come straight in and know everything about what we do. As an apprentice, we’ll help make sure you get the most out of your time with us.
**Role Overview**
The specific duties of your role will depend on the team you join but you can expect to work with various teams across different locations to ensure tasks are completed on time and potential issues are escalated as appropriate. Alongside your day to day, there will also be opportunities to get involved with additional projects within and outside of your team.

**As a minimum requirement you’ll need to**:
- Have achieved at least 5 GCSEs (A* - C or 9 - 4) two of which we prefer to be English and Maths
- The ability to always maintain confidentiality.
- Proactive and highly organised - able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good use of Microsoft Office suite.
**Training and Development**
- Over your apprenticeship programme, you will be based in our Harlow office, where you’ll not only learn how our departments contribute to making our organisation work seamlessly, but also build your knowledge of the wider business.
- At every stage, your development will be underpinned by the best apprenticeship training and professional certified courses.
- Unlike other firms that hire on a volume basis, we take on a select number of apprentices. You will be highly valued here, so your development is heavily invested in from day one.

**Your apprenticeship**
Upon successful completion of your apprenticeship you will gain a Business Administration Level 3 certificate.
- Two previous apprentices enrolled in 2020 and are now fully employed members of staff within both HR and Finance teams where they are continuing to develop but are also relied upon all members of staff including Senior management._
Pay: £16,640.00 per year
