Working as part of our Microbiology Division (MBD), within the Specialty Diagnostics Group, you’ll play an active part in helping us to achieve our mission to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. The Microbiology Division discovers microbiological solutions for the diagnosis of infectious disease and detection of bacterial contamination. We serve public health, clinical laboratories, food companies, environmental screening and pharmaceutical laboratories with a portfolio of products that include culture media, antimicrobial susceptibility testing solutions and best-in-class molecular solutions for food safety testing.

**How will you make an impact**:
The Supply Planner will support and manage the day-to-day and medium-term production & supply planning activities for the Dartford site in a safe, compliant, efficient and effective manner.

**What will you do?**
- Ownership for Supply plan in 0-36 months horizon.
- Ensure that detailed master production schedules and plans are ready in time for budget/ forecast timelines.
- Call out major supply issues in a timely manner.
- Support the preparation and issuance of the Weekly Site Shipping Schedule.
- Ensure that production plans are issued in a timely manner.
- Monitor actual production achievement and rescheduling where necessary.
- Assess requests to change the current/ future production plans.
- Ensure any rework / reprocessing is progressed in a timely manner.
- Prepare for and present at the monthly Supply Review Meeting, part of the routine S&OP process.
- As part of the routine S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process, ensure the creation, release and maintenance of production plans in SAP.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of relevant SAP data at all times.
- Manage the inventory of products within applicable agreed stock policies.
- Ensure a strong working relationship with all other teams on site.
- Be a key point of contact for production plan issue resolution.
- Support and deputize for the Supply Chain Planning Lead as and when required.
- Provide training where necessary.
- Actively support and participate in all continuous improvements and LeanSigma/OE activities.

**Who we are looking for**:

- An honours degree in business studies, commerce, business information systems, engineering or chemistry is desirable.
- Experience in a Supply Chain management/ planning / manufacturing role.
- Proficient in excel.
- SAP experience is an advantage.
- Pharmaceutical experience is an advantage.
