The Department of Pure and Applied Chemistry at the University of Strathclyde wishes to appoint an Early Stage Researcher (ESR). The position is funded by the UKRI Horizon Europe guarantee scheme, but is aligned to the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Doctoral Training Network “MultiSMART - Multi-component Soft Materials Advanced Research Training network ”.

You will be required to meet Marie Curie Early Stage Researcher eligibility criteria. In particular, you must not have resided in the UK for more than 12 months in the last 3 years immediately prior to commencing in the role, and you must not have been awarded a Doctoral Degree.

In addition to the above, you will have an upper second-class BSc Honours or MSc degree or equivalent in chemistry, physics, computer science or a relevant scientific discipline. You will have the ability and motivation to work independently as well as collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team.
