AK Teaching is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Unqualified Teaching Assistant on a supply basis. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a small group of learners with special educational needs in a supportive classroom environment, alongside experienced teachers and teaching assistants.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Support a small group of learners with special educational needs under the guidance of the class teacher and other teaching assistants.
- Assist in implementing individual education plans and providing tailored support to meet the diverse needs of the learners.
- Engage actively with learners, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create engaging and stimulating learning activities.
- Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment, ensuring the well-being of all learners.

**Requirements**:

- No formal qualifications required; however, relevant experience working with young people or adults with learning difficulties is highly desirable.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to engage with learners and support their individual needs.
- Commitment to the role and availability to work Monday to Friday during school hours.
- DBS check on the update service or willingness to undergo a DBS check.
- Ability to adapt to challenging situations and a passion for making a positive difference in the lives of learners with special educational needs.
