**Salary: £10.50 per hour**

We are looking to expand our Bank Staff register with experienced care workers to work at our properties in Selly Oak and Erdington in Birmingham.

Our properties offer a 24-hour service; providing front-line care and support to vulnerable adults, some of whom have a sensory impairment as well as other physical and learning disabilities, and complex needs.

The role of Bank Staff is to provide cover for permanent staffing during times of absence, holidays or sickness.

Our properties have 7-day rolling rota’s covering early, late, evening or night shifts (shift times are 8am-3pm, 3pm-10pm, or 10pm-8am), on weekdays, weekends, and Bank Holidays where appropriate.

You should have previous experience of working in a care and support role; preferably in learning disabilities and visual impairment. Duties include providing support with personal care needs and medication, assisting with activities, shopping, meal preparation, person-centred planning, and domestic tasks where required. Part of the role is to assist with maintaining accurate records and documentation, assisting in maintaining the security of the building and adhering to all policies and procedures of the Association. You should be flexible, caring and have a genuine willingness to undertake further training as required.

Please note, successful applicants should have no restrictions, and will be required to provide an enhanced DBS certificate, together with evidence of their current Right to Work in the UK.
