Huntingdon, United Kingdom Higher Hopes Ltd Full time

**WELCOME BONUS £750* *CPD ACCREDITED TRAINING* *CAREER PROGRESSION**
- Higher Hopes Ltd provide therapeutic care services to young girls aged 8 - 18 years, who have experienced childhood trauma, neglect and abuse. Our aim is to provide loving, safe and informed services, focused on working with traumatised young people and those around them, to create a positive future._

We are looking for experienced Therapeutic Childcare Workers to join our expanding team. In rural Cambridgeshire you will find our detached 5 bed home, surrounded by open space and rolling countryside, with close links to the A1 and A14. We are currently home to 4 young girls aged between 8 and 18 years who have experienced childhood trauma, abuse and neglect. These young people require day to day care and support, promoting their independence and individuality and work on basic life skills. By creating a safe and caring environment, the children will be able to openly express their emotions and work towards overcoming their past and look toward a brighter future full of positivity and prospects.

Whilst some days may be challenging, the rewards of seeing the residents progress far outweigh this. You will work alongside senior members of staff as well as the management team to ensure a smooth running of the home and all the children’s individual needs are met every day.

- Safeguard each young resident, identify concerns and report them effectively
