Day to day leadership, monitoring and supervision of required team within the LB ISS Warehouse and Distribution function to achieve goals and targets that contribute to the growth of the business. Leadership is responsible for creating an environment that promotes positive communication and be responsible for showing guidance, instruction, and training to enable team to perform at their optimum. Day to day tasks should include (but not limited to):

- Supporting Line Manager
- Attend daily operational planning meetings
- Maintain required Time and Attendance records (T&A)
- Preparation of required data and reports for various reviews
- Workload Planning
- Create daily plans around available capacity
- Prioritization of workload to meet customer request
- Execution of the daily plan
- Team Performance
- Maintain Team performance to safety, Delivery, Cost, Quality targets
- Maintain accurate metric data for production meeting
- Create an embrace the red (failure to performance targets) culture.
- Maintain an accurate team skills matrix and upskill wherever opportunities are required
- People development
- Conduct individual 1:1 and performance connection development sessions with team members
- Support career and development aspirations
- Support training requirements to upskill and cross train to promote flexibility
- Create opportunities for individuals to showcase themselves via training, improvement projects and various forums.
- Conduct talent reviews to help create succession plans
- ACE/CORE
- Embrace, Support and participate in all required ACE/CORE initiatives that support the business targets
- Undertake and complete all necessary ACE/CORE training modules
- Allocate time to team members supporting various ACE/CORE projects and forums.
- Compliance
- Conduct regular Gemba walks to ensure key processes are being adhered to
- Facilitate the carrying out of all necessary Safety, Quality and operational internal/external audits and closing down of actions with the set timescales.

**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES**
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Minimum of NVQ level 3 qualification (or equivalent) or relevant work experience
- Good understanding of continuous improvement and the use of lean tools
- Strong organizational skills to give team direction
- Results driven and have a broad understanding of business processes
- Strong understanding of MRP (E1) system and able to interrogate and populate system accurately.
- IT literate - Effective use of Microsoft Office software; Excel, Word, PowerPoint,

**PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES**
- Proven work experience as a people leader with day to day leadership within a team environment or proven participation within multiple projects as a project lead.
- In depth knowledge of performance metrics
- Willing to take on relevant training towards recognized qualifications for development and future advancement
