Reporting to the VP People Andy, the People Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in managing HR and payroll functions for Kiln in all of our locations. **Responsibilities**:

- HR Administration:

- Manage employee records and ensure data accuracy in HRIS systems (e.g., Bob, Personio etc).
- Process employee onboarding, offboarding, and status changes.
- Assist with HR compliance requirements in the UK, France and Singapore including employment law and regulations.
- Coordinate employee benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
- Payroll Processing:

- Prepare and process payroll for employees in the UK, France, Singapore and Deel ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
- Verify timesheets, commissions, bonuses, and other payroll-related data.
- Collaborate with external payroll providers to resolve issues and ensure timely payroll processing.
- Reconcile payroll-related accounts and assist with payroll reporting as needed.
- Employee Relations:

- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and payroll.
- Assist with resolving employee relations issues, including disputes, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
- Support managers with performance management processes and documentation.
- Compliance and Reporting:

- Stay up-to-date with UK, French and Singaporean employment laws and regulations, ensuring company compliance.
- Prepare and submit statutory reports and filings related to HR and payroll (e.g., tax filings, social security contributions).
- Assist with audits and provide documentation as needed.
- Process Improvement:

- Identify, develop, and implement streamlined HR and payroll processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams, documenting SOPs to ensure efficiency and consistency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and best practices.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2.5+ years of experience in HR administration and** payroll processing**, preferably in an international environment.
- Knowledge of HR and payroll regulations and practices in France.
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., BambooHR, ADP) and payroll software (e.g., Payfit).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Full proficiency in **both** English and French languages

**Nice-to-have**:

- Knowledge of HR and payroll regulations and practices in the UK, in the USA or in Singapore.
- Experience or interest in Web3/crypto/blockchain/DeFi
