Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable and customer-focused Trainee Taxi Drivers. providing transportation services to passengers in and around the city. As a Taxi Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting passengers to their destinations.

**Duties**:

- Safely drive passengers to their specified destinations in a timely manner
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or belongings
- Maintain a clean and well-presented vehicle interior
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations at all times
- Accept fare payments and provide change accurately
- Keep accurate records of transactions and passenger counts
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and passengers
- Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained and report any issues promptly

**Skills**:

- Valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
- Excellent knowledge of local streets, routes, and landmarks
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact positively with passengers
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle unexpected situations effectively

You will be required to complete a 2 week training course to gain your Level 2 certificate in the Introduction in the role of the professional taxi and private hire driver. This is required to obtain your taxi licence. Your medical, DBS and 3 year licence will be funded on successful completion of the training course.

**Job Type**: Freelance

Pay: £28,000.00-£38,000.00 per year

- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
