**Product Development**:
**Job Title: Garment Merchandiser**

**Job Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with designers to understand and interpret design concepts.
- Source materials and accessories required for garment production.
- Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to develop prototypes and samples.

Production Planning:

- Create and manage production schedules to ensure timely delivery of garments.
- Monitor and track production progress, addressing any delays or issues that may arise.
- Coordinate with production teams to optimize workflow and efficiency.

Quality Control:

- Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes.
- Conduct regular inspections of samples and production batches.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address and resolve any quality issues.

Cost Management:

- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers and manufacturers.
- Monitor production costs to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Identify opportunities for cost-saving measures without compromising quality.

Communication and Collaboration:

- Serve as a liaison between design, production, and other relevant departments.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams.
- Provide regular updates on production status and address any concerns promptly.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Garment Merchandiser or in a similar role within the fashion industry.
- Strong understanding of garment production processes and quality control.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry-specific software.
- Knowledge of current fashion trends and market dynamics.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
