We are currently working with an employer who have been operating in Stockton on Tees for 22 years. They offer a steel fabrication facility of 15,000 sq ft workshop complete with 10 ton and 5-ton overhead craneage. They also offer onsite steelwork erection and welding (24HR service)
They are the largest stockist of flat belt and chevron belt in the Northeast of England. Which enables them to service the recycling and quarrying industry.
Basic Plater
£16 per hour
Temporary
Hours Monday-Thursday 8-4.30pm, Friday finish at 3.30pm.
Site Safety Passport desirable but not essential as the client will pay for the two-day course.
Driving licence essential.
PPE will be provided.
No qualifications or certifications required but ideally someone experienced with platework and structural steel plates.
The Plater will be required to set up and run various plating jobs outlined on drawings, for tanks and drums to be made.
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Relaxed environment, excellent team spirit and a mixed age group.
Industrial surroundings, workshop style.
