The hours of work are varied and can be increased based on availability. Mainly term time with classes taking place between 9am and 4pm.

There can be online classes via Zoom as well as classes in nurseries, schools, private homes and community venues. There may also be scope for weekend work if interested.

The rates of pay vary depending on length of class but minimum of £15 per 30 minute class.

Do you have a high level of Spanish and English?

Can you drive and do you have use of a car? Can you travel throughout Ayrshire? (earning potential increases with ability to travel between locations).

Do you have the right to live and work in the UK?

Will you pass a PVG check?

Do you genuinely enjoy working with children?

Training is provided in the Kidslingo methodology and some online training is also required. All lesson plans are provided for you to follow but you would need to do some preparation such as printing worksheets, preparing flashcards etc.

As a self-employed position it is relied upon that you have the skills to teach Spanish and you possess the following:

- Motivation and ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Common sense and reliability
- Enthusiasm and confidence
- Ability to engage with children and provide good customer service to adults
- Time management and planning / prioritising abilities
- Sufficient IT skills to be able to upload / download documents, prepare invoices, prepare lessons

You may be asked to support the aims and growth of the business with other ad hoc activites, such as social media input, attending fayres, delivering taster sessions etc.

Part-time hours - around 8 hours of work waiting (West Kilbride) with potential to increase depending on availability.
