We are currently looking for a Strategic Workforce Planning Specialist to join us on a fixed term contract to play a pivotal role in shaping, implementing and embedding BHF’s Strategic Workforce Plan, ensuring that the BHF is ready to meet any number of possible futures.

This is a new position within our People & Organisational Directorate that will work alongside our Future FIT (Flexible, Inclusive Talent) programme of work. The Future FIT programme will develop and implement a BHF Talent Strategy and BHF Strategic Workforce Plan to ensure that the BHF have the required talent, skills, and capabilities at the right time so we can continue to deliver our life-saving mission.

The role will review and analyse workforce trends across the business, assess current and future staffing needs, and implement proactive solutions that enhance organisational performance and align the BHF to our strategic vision.

**Working arrangements**

This is an 18-month fixed term contract opportunity within our People and Organisational Development directorate.

It is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office.

At BHF we believe in the power of being together, so our colleagues on blended contracts can expect to spend some time in their office, at least one day each week, on average. The use of our office spaces is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.

**About you**

With previous experience of working within Strategic Workforce Planning you’ll be CIPD qualified or have demonstrable equivalent experience and knowledge.

You’ll have previous experience of building strategic partnerships and relationships with diverse partners and executive leaders across the business. With excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, you’ll be confident presenting to audiences of all levels.

You will be innovative and solutions-focused, able to shape the people management plans accordingly using data and your strong analytical and data insight skills.

With knowledge and understanding of up-to-date HR trends, legislation and development, you will be active in your personal continuous self-development. Previous experience with Workday or similar workforce planning programme would be advantageous.
