Morrison Water Services are currently looking to recruit a SHEQW Advisor to work on our Thames Water Developer Services Programme.
Reporting directly to the SHEQW Manager. You will be part of our SHEQW Team, advising project teams throughout the project lifecycle but specifically during planning and delivery stages. You will support with the delivery of Health and Safety initiatives and delivery project-specific safety briefings. You will carry out regular site visits and audits as well as support the site teams in identifying solutions and options to overcome issues.
You will conduct investigations of incidents and accidents identifying root cause analysis and recommendations to prevent re-occurrence. You will report incidents in line with Thames Water and parent company minimum requirements and submit reports within agreed timescales. You will ensure actions from investigations are acted upon and close-out the report in a timely manner.
Do you have a strong background working within the Utility / Water sector?
Do you hold a NEBOSH General/Construction certificate or NCRQ level 3 certificate?
Have you gained experience of working in a CDM environment? This is essential to be considered for this role.
Can you demonstrate working knowledge of current UK Health and Safety legislation and best practice?
Are you able to evaluate safety practices, procedures, programmes, attitudes, and awareness and to recommend methods of improvement?
Do you have Knowledge of safety devices to use in conjunction with tools and equipment in the workplace?
