We are working alongside a leading global manufacturing company based in Poole are currently recruiting for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join the business.

This is a great opportunity to join a well-known Industrial Manufacturer who is renowned for developing their staff and there are opportunities for personal & career development within the business.

This role will see you reporting into and supporting the senior leadership team with the achievement and implementation of strategic goals.

Within this role you will be responsible a large team across logistics, goods in/out and purchasing & planning ensuring the company provides the best value, quality and service.

Key responsibilities will include;
- Supporting import, export and logistic partners
- Improvement of stock turn increases through VMI & Consignment
- Supply Chain Risk Management
- Improve percentage of vendors on Long-Term Agreements and ensure strong supplier relationship management
- Support Supplier Quality Management, including vendor assessment
- New Product Introduction and procurement life cycle management (including obsolescence management)
- Labour and capacity planning
- Sales & Operational Planning including strategic and tactical planning
- Make vs buy
- Sales, demand and material planning
- Stock level determination and forecasting

The successful applicant will;
- Ideally be CIPS or APICS qualified but not essential
- Have a proven track record of working within a Supply Chain Management role
- Have previous experience of stock profiling and demand forecast as well as budget creation, tracking and delivery.
- Possess experience of process analysis, design and improvement experience as well as Data Analysis/ BI creation and interpretation
- Have previous people management experience
