Cloud Engineer

Cloud Engineer needed for this enterprise sized not for profit organisation.
The Cloud Engineer will be working as part of a very well established Cloud / Infrastructure team and is responsible for the management and administration of their IT Cloud Infrastructure.
Responsibilities are broad and include:
- Management, administration and operational support of the Azure infrastructure.
- Deploy and maintain Azure IaaS Virtual Machines and Azure Application and Networking Services to
- support growth into the cloud.
- Maintain pipelines and deployments within Azure DevOps.
- Optimise Azure buildouts for cost/performance (VM optimization, reserved instances, etc.)
The right Cloud Engineer will have a good mix of:
- Up-to-date knowledge of Microsoft Online Services cloud platforms: Microsoft 365 (including Azure Active Directory, Azure AD Premium, Microsoft 365 E5, Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365 and Power Platform) as well as different Microsoft licensing models.
- Experience with Administration of a growing Microsoft Azure environment
- Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or equivalent DevOps experience
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code deployments and managing pipelines with Microsoft DevOps
Microsoft Azure Administrator Certification (AZ-104) or equivalent Microsoft Azure certification would be ideal.
