We are looking to recruit a Band3School Health Assistant.You will need to be motivated, innovative and looking to further develop your knowledge and skills within the NHS. We will ensure you receive devoted, effective support from both your manager and colleagues within your team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Reading school nursing team to deliver the National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP) to children in Reception year and Year 6. You will require excellent organisational skills, the ability to work in partnership with other teams and agencies, along with great communication and a passion for working with children and families whilst being able to adapt to continuing change.
- Deliver the National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP) for children in Year R and Year 6
- Co-ordinate the delivery timetable of all commissioned schools
- Input collected data onto the NCMP database
- Contribute to developing, reviewing and improving the service delivery of the NCMP
- Undertake hearing tests and make referrals to Paediatric Audiology
- Provide administrative support to the school nursing team when required

**The 3 “must haves” for you to be considered for this role**:
1. You must be able to work without direct supervision and manage your own workload
2. A degree of agility and the ability to carry/manoeuvre light to moderate loads
3. Car driver with ability and readiness to travel to multiple sites
