A food manufacturing business based in Banbury have a crucial requirement for a Maintenance Engineer. You will have responsibility for the engineering team, overseeing maintenance of machinery, buildings and services in factory, warehouse, and offices. Thisrole will be a 40 hour week - Monday - Friday, covering either 6am-2pm, 10am-6pm.

**Commutable from**: Banbury, Bicester, Oxford, Oxfordshire, Brackley, Towcester, Kineton, Buckingham, Coventry, Chipping Norton

**Salary**: £ 36,000 - £ 42,000 per year, 25 Days Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays with the option to purchase additional holidays, Auto Enrolment Pension Scheme, Medicash Healthcare Cashback, Scheme after probation, Employee Assistance Programmeand 24/7 GP Helpline Service, Life Assurance Scheme - 2 x Salary
Suitable for: Multi-Skilled Engineer

**The role of Maintenance Engineer**:
Manage the engineering team to ensure cover and optimum performance of equipment
Ordering parts and consumables to maintain appropriate stock levels in stores
Setting and reviewing the PPM
Processing paperwork, delivery notes, purchasing orders in relation to engineering / maintenance
Identifying cost improvements and managing the engineering budget
Ensure the appropriate standards of H&S
Organise installation of plant and equipment, including manual participation where required
Develop new and existing machines to meet changing production needs
Adapt rapidly to identify other new equipment to suit business needs
Work closely with production team to ensure prompt involvement in all areas
Communicate all issues to production management
Attend breakdowns and give technical troubleshooting assistance

**The ideal Maintenance Engineer**:
Experience supervising a small engineering team
Exposure to a food production environment would be beneficial
Exposure to blending machinery or box forming machinery would be beneficial
Mechanically trained with 18th edition electrical wiring regulations
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
Able to work to GMP requirements
Experienced in upholding health & safety across the engineering department
