We have an excellent opportunity for an Underwriting Assistant to join the our Fine Art and High Net Worth team as we continue to grow and expand our specialty insurance book here at HDI Global Specialty with fantastic career prospects for your career development and long-term progression.

We are looking form a bright, enthusiastic and hardworking individual who has a keen interest in art to join our growing team and work closely with our Head of Fine Art.

**What you'll be doing**:
**1. Underwriting Support and Administration**
- Carry out timely, accurate and efficient entry of data into underwriting and accumulation management systems (eNora, Re7 and FEM);
- Transferral of underwriting information and correspondence into document management system (Doxis);
- Reporting and submission of data to third parties (e.g. reinsurers, terrorism pools, group actuaries);
- Diarising and chasing new business and renewals;
- Ad hoc technical & processing support to underwriters including enquiry, policy & exposure data and report running;
- Ensure appropriate workflow process is adhered to from quote-to-bind;
- Provide technical information / support to other departments if required.

**2. Managing Relationships**
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with brokers through clear and courteous communication;
- Handle calls and enquiries efficiently;
- Provide professional and courteous service and support to colleagues and clients

**3. Data Integrity**
- Ensure that all entries are accurate and resolve any queries from the Data Control team;
- Implement and maintain process controls to ensure the quality of your output. Document and follow the control processes and ensure any issues identified are addressed

**3. Process Improvement**
- Make suggestions for process improvements within your role

**4. Credit Control**
- Work with the Technical Accounting team to ensure accuracy of payments and swift resolution of any statement queries
