**Duties**:

- Provide support and assistance to a young man with autism who is non verbal with a complex learning disability who still lives in the family home.
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Help with meal preparation and feeding
- Administer medication
- Provide support to go out and about with the community.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in health and social care community work is preferable.
- Knowledge of autism is a plus.
- Compassionate and caring attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A confident person who is quick to adapt to challenging circumstances and has a good sense of humour.

Hourly rate is £12/hour (Increasing to £13/hr in April)

Hours of work:

- 1-2 shifts per week (9:30am-5:30pm)) worked flexibly over weekdays and weekends. Occasional respite cover required.
- **Partners in Personalisation is advertising on behalf of the family and are not the employers.**_

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £12.00-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 16 per week
