OBM are currently recruiting for a Stores Person for our leading Oil and Energy Service Company based in Peterhead. This is a short-term contract role for 8-weeks initially.

**Role Purpose**:
To Accurately receive, store and issue stock materials in accordance with customer and company requirements.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for ensuring materials received, corresponds with delivery paperwork and that any discrepancies are investigated;
- Ensure requests for materials are received, located and properly actioned in accordance with procedures and that the materials system is updated accordingly;
- Ensure containerised units are fit for purpose prior to packing and despatch;
- Ensure materials stored in the Warehouse and external storage areas are done so in compliance with procedures, e.g. correctly identified with stock codes, location and weights and protected from environmental damage;
- Operation of forklift trucks of the required capacity in full compliance with the designated task and applicable safe systems of work, speed limitations and HSE standards;
- Deliver stock accuracy by operation of the materials system, undertaking regular stock checks and ensuring written-off stock is disposed of correctly;
- Maintain housekeeping standards within the Warehouse and operating areas
- Ensure work is carried out in a cost-effective manner
- Ad-hoc duties as required in line with applicable training/competency assessments

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- 0-5T Counterbalance Fork Lift truck
- IOSH Managing Safely
