**Risk Management Surveyor**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced building surveyors to join a rapidly expanding team operating across the UK. The company specialises in arranging ten and twelve-year structural warranty and insurance cover as well as extensive property finance solutions for the construction industry and property market throughout the UK.

You will be providing professional advice on all aspects of property and construction and primarily responsible for carrying out risk assessments on properties and building relationships with customers to help generate revenue.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- This is a home-based role, but the Risk Management Surveyor will spend a significant amount of time completing site visits and therefore you must be willing to travel and have a Full UK Driving licence.
- Carrying out site inspections on new build dwellings. This involves inspecting the dwellings at various stages during construction and liaising with builders and developers on any technical issues. or sub-standard/remedial works.
- Investigating structural issues and rainwater ingress claims. Co-ordinating contractors/developers to remediate structural issues and moisture ingress throughout.
- Producing inspection reports and sign off on Professional Consultant's Certificates ("PCC's").
- Provide a superior client service through building and maintaining strong client relationships as well as efficiently and accurately responding to client enquiries.
- Effectively managing workload to ensure a timely, helpful and professional service to clients in planning and execution of inspections, while maximising the number of inspections in any given day.
- Ensuring inspections target a zero claims ratio.
- Regular liaison with other team Surveyors to ensure inspection standards and services are consistent.
- Generate new revenue through referral and contacts.

**EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Qualified surveyor (TechRICS, ACIOB ABEng, LICWCI or similar).
- An understanding of latent defect risk management and the methods for mitigating claims.
- Ability to undertake site inspections to assess both quality and the cause/effect of building defects.
- Commercial awareness and ability to work as part of a team.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Self starter, self motivated and committed to providing superior client service.
- Full UK Drivers Licence (clean).

Basic Salary: £60k pa + CAR

**Salary**: £60,000.00-£62,000.00 per year
