We are looking for someone loyal and hard working to join our team of 50 (10 office and 40 trades).

As an Junior Estimator at Colwin Group, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely price estimates, working within tight time frames/Service Level Agreements. Amending estimates as required and raising invoices for our clients upon completion of works.

You will be required to utilise national schedules of rates and also prepare competitive tenders.

Some of your duties will include:

- Preparing accurate and timely price estimates by analysing technical drawings, tender packages and specifications
- Considering liability when preparing scopes of work
- Liaising with customers and Project Managers to gather information required to complete the estimate & prepare invoices
- Liaising with suppliers to request costings and negotiate discounts
- Confirming job prices and getting authorisation from Project Managers for larger quotes
- Liaising with suppliers to create price comparison tables
- Providing technical drawings and product information to customers when required. These will be designed by our engineer
- Working to tight SLA's and KPI's
- A focus on raising invoices to clients and providing any evidence as required
- Previous experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Some previous experience working in an estimating department or solid evidence that you possess relevant transferable skills
- Experience of working successfully as part of a team
- A professional telephone manner and great communication skills
- Evidence of excellent attention to detail and accuracy within your work
- A command of figures

**Desirable Requirements**:

- Experience in a quantity surveying environment preferable
- Commercial awareness
- Experience in property repairs and construction preferable
- A Level (or equivalent) qualifications
