**The team**

The Finance Continuous Improvement team is a brand new team within Group Finance at ITV and it's a really exciting time to be joining We have just gone live with Oracle Fusion and this is only the start of our journey.

**The role**

We have a new opportunity for an experienced Global Process Owner to join our team on a permanent basis in either London or Manchester. The Global Process Owner position will cover FP&A and will report into the Head of Finance Continuous Improvement.

As Global Process Owner, you will join the Continuous Improvement team and will be responsible for the successful design, implementation and continuous improvement of our end to end global processes. You will ensure these processes are clearly defined and standardised, with the right controls in place to successfully deliver improved cost savings and efficiencies across ITV, whilst enabling greater analysis and insight to drive business performance. You will work collaboratively with teams across the business to implement automation and process improvements.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Accountable for the successful design, implementation and continuous improvement of “best in class” standard Global FP&A processes that fully support the business needs, providing the required insights into financials as well as comply with regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Own and maintain process documentation including standard operating procedures, and training materials.
- Responsible for creating smoothly functioning FP&A global processes, using analytics to provide solid trend data that clearly points out weaknesses and strengths.
- Represent the FP&A process in all business-led system projects where there are finance process change impacts.
- Provide expert advice on the system and process implications of change.
- Oversee the change request management process, reviewing business requirements.
- Provide proposals for process improvement based on knowledge of third party capability aligned with ITV's requirements.
- Ensure system changes are appropriately tested and verified before implementation into a live environment.
- Responsible for business related policies and procedures, including decision making authority for sign-off.
- Ensure best in class controls are embedded as part of the end-to-end process design.
- Identify process efficiency opportunities and recommend a programme of continuous improvement.
- Determine training needs and input into the training content in conjunction with the Change team.
- Develop and embed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across the process.
- Analysis of KPIs to drive process change where relevant.

**Skills you’ll need **(minimum criteria)
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) qualified accountant
- Previous experience of using FP&A systems and tools (eg EPM, Hyperion).
- In depth knowledge of the FP&A process area and a strong understanding of external best-practice benchmarks.
- Proven successful project management experience to develop plans and manage risks.

**Other things we’re looking for **(key criteria)
- Lean/Six Sigma/PRINCE qualifications and experience desirable.
- Experience of designing and developing process maps and activity documents.
- Ability to re-imagine processes with business outcomes in mind, while improving efficiency end-to-end.
- Experience of working within SOX or similar regulatory environment is beneficial.
- Experienced in a Global Business Services environment would be beneficial.
- Excellent IT skills including GSuite and Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent relationship and collaborative skills; building and maintaining strong relationships and working with colleagues to meet shared goals.
