Job Title: Furniture Shop Handler / Supervisor

Location: Based in our Hexham Furniture Shop, assisting with collecting and delivering furniture, with flexibility to support other parts of the THH retail and events teams when required.

Hours: 22.5 hours per week (permanent contract), 3 or 4 days to be worked over Monday to Sunday

We are looking for an experienced warehouse operative or furniture handler to join our retail team. The successful postholder will maximise income through the safe collection and distribution of donated furniture and other stock within Northumberland.

We are looking for someone who is also able to support the effective running of the Furniture Shop including supervising and delegating to a team of volunteers. You will need to offer excellent customer service, be well organised and able to prioritise and manage your own time.

It is essential that the postholder will be physically able to undertake the full remit of the role including manual handling tasks. It is desirable to hold a full clean driving license (for at least 2 years), with class C1.
